Dinard, Delightfully Coastal

Nestled on the stunning Emerald Coast, Dinard is one of Brittany’s most charming seaside destinations in France. Known for its elegant Belle Époque villas, fine sandy beaches, and scenic coastal walks, this picturesque resort town offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape or a family getaway, Dinard invites you to experience the beauty and authenticity of Brittany’s coastline.
Discover Dinard
Let’s start with the heart of Dinard. At the end of Boulevard Féart, you’ll be charmed by the beach of l’Écluse and its famous white and blue striped tents. It’s the perfect starting point to discover over four hundred magnificent preserved villas. On the left side of the beach, you can’t miss it: overlooking Pointe de la Malouine, Villa les Roches Brunes is undoubtedly the most iconic. Classified as a Historical Monument, it is open to the public during cultural events.
On the other side, stroll through the alleys of Pointe du Moulinet. Don’t forget to discover a gem of Anglican influence: St. Bartholomew’s Church. Facing the Rance and the Bay of the Prieuré, the Promenade du Clair de Lune offers breathtaking views of Saint-Malo. This is also where the maritime heart of the city resides: between its marina and the ferry terminal, you can leisurely take the sea bus to conquer the corsair city or set off on an excursion…
Continuing your getaway, you will face the beach of the Prieuré. Port Breton Park, which overlooks the beach, offers children’s games, a sports course, and a petting zoo—it’s the perfect meeting place for families!

The gem

Don’t leave without exploring the Saint-Énogat neighborhood.
This neighborhood is the birthplace of Dinard, which, before 1850, was a prosperous village that developed around its church. The village was then populated by fishermen, farmers, and cod fishermen.
With the beginnings of tourism and the influx of summer visitors, Saint-Énogat became a meeting place for artists and the intellectual elite.
Follow the Saint-Énogat walking trail to discover the neighborhood.
