Discover Saint-Lunaire
A past anchored in stone and memory. Strolling through the streets of the resort is a journey through time. The old church, a Romanesque building from the 11th century that has been enlarged, rebuilt, restored, and classified as a Historic Monument, stands as a proud witness. It is also the resting place of the city’s founder from the 6th century, Saint-Lunaire. The captain’s houses invite you to maritime travels. As for the town center, it carries the radiance of the Belle Époque and the passion of Sylla Laraque, a wealthy Haitian businessman who made Saint-Lunaire one of the first seaside resorts on the Côte d’Émeraude!
Respectful of its environment and aware of the challenges of tomorrow, the resort pays considerable attention to the preservation of its surroundings. Saint-Lunaire has indeed received the “city of nature” label. The recent acquisition of the Bois de Ponthual and the Longchamp dune, as well as the preservation of the Pointe du Nick, are perfect examples of this commitment. Still hesitant? Come to the Pointe du Décollé and embrace the beauty of the panorama. You will understand…

Low vegetation has developed in the areas most exposed to the wind.
At the foot of the Pointe du Nick, the mouth of the Crévelin estuary (the Goulet) is one of the most beautiful sites in Saint-Lunaire at high tide.
