Saint-Briac-sur-Mer

La pointe de la Garde Guérin

This headland resembles a spur of rock some 162 ft. (50 m) high jutting out into the sea like a peninsula. From this natural promontory, which has escaped property development, there is an breathtaking panoramic view all along the coast to Cap Fréhel. The visitor amenities provided by the Conseil Général (the equivalent of a country council) in 1983 (car parks, waymarked footpaths, removal of any dangerous places) enable walkers to enjoy this outstanding natural heritage without risk.
