Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer

L'Abbaye

A former monastery founded by St. Jacut, today the Abbey is a holiday centre run by an association. In leafy green surroundings by the sea and offering stunning views, the Abbey is open all year round, to anyone looking for relaxation, rest, and meditation, alone, as a family or in a group, in a tranquil, friendly atmosphere.
Its 100 rooms, 4 dining rooms and 8 seminar rooms can accommodate businesses and associations for meetings and seminars.
Each year, the Abbey creates a program promoting spiritual and cultural well-being, encouraging thought on social issues, and dialogue on cultural and religious themes (find out more on the website). Through the summer, the program also includes exhibitions, concerts and conferences.

The Village Rivages association aims to "promote the cultural and maritime heritage of Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer". To this end, it runs the Maison du Pêcheur, the home of one of the last professional fishermen, which has been transformed into an information centre on the village's maritime past.
