The little history of the Dinard Casino
The Casino Barrière Dinard has had several names: High Life Casino and then Palais d’Émeraude. Built in 1866 at the behest of the English visitors to the town, the structure of the original building was made of wood. A second establishment was opened in 1877 to replace the first and expanded to two floors, featuring baths, a reception hall, and a theater.
Today, the slot machine room offers a splendid view of the Écluse beach. The establishment hosts numerous cultural events, including classical music concerts, jazz performances, comedy shows, and much more!
