In the heart of Dinard, between the Pointe du Moulinet headland and the Plage du Prieuré beach, Promenade du Clair de Lune winds its way between Art Deco villas, neo-classical hotels and a magnificent palm grove. Come and discover its treasures.
Promenade du Clair de Lune is one of Dinard’s favourite walks. Brilliantly positioned and protected from the wind, it invites you to stroll and relax along the gardens whose bright, colourful notes and fragrances give it a special charm.
On Quai de la Perle, you will be amazed to discover beautiful Mediterranean vegetation, including a palm grove created in the 1930s.
The view is second to none. Opposite, you can see the fortified town of Saint-Malo and the spire of its cathedral. On the horizon, the huge, deep blue sea awaits you, dotted with forts, lighthouses and rocks that adorn the bay at Saint-Malo.
Dinard inspires artists and the town’s many art galleries can testify to this.
Discover some of the works of art as you meander along Promenade du Clair de Lune, including sculptures, bas-reliefs and sculpted portals. Take a step up to admire the statue of Eve overlooking the bay from the terrace of Castelbrac Hotel & Spa.
In the summer, follow the Chemin des Arts, a trail of monumental, contemporary art sculptures featuring a different artist each year.
Hôtel Castelbrac
Castelbrac was built on a cliffside as close to the sea. “La Villa Bric à Brac”, which became the Castelbrac Hotel in 2015, reveals an exceptional history.
In the summer, come in the moonlight to discover the magic of the promenade. In the evening, as night falls, it lights up and accompanies your walk with music. There is a different theme each evening — classical music, jazz or contemporary.
An enchanting atmosphere for a romantic stroll.
